Dat character design. Well, she certainly looks noticeable.

It looked pretty cool, but I lost it and laughed throughout the trailer when the guy said "Bayonetta". Laughing

Meh. The English cast for the game wasn't all that great or memorable anyways, to be honest.

That should tell you something about the dub quality, then. If the performance made that little of an impression to not recognize the actors, then it's not really that big of a deal to worry about the original cast. At least in my opinion.

Again: Most of the cast = not anime VA;s and the couple that were didn;t sound any different than usual so not sure how you couldn't recognize them

Eww Gonzo. Movie will probably suck.

Still I love me some Bayonetta.

And really the dub sucked? Bayonetta's voice was fantastic, going to be hard to replace that. Hell I don't think I'd even want to watch this in Japanese.

I imagine a lot of that cast is returning for Bayonetta 2.

This will be a likely purchase, the Bayonetta game is surprisingly fun, so I am excited. I would prefer to watch the dub as I did not really feel any problems with it.

Doesn't matter if I could not recognise their voices or not.

At least as far as the games are concerned, aren't they only in English?

Bayonetta's best scenes need to be the fights and I have a bad history with Gonzo's (lack of) fight scenes. I hope we don't get stills of Bayo as the voice actress does all her work.

Yep, all the Devil May Cry, Resident Evil and Bayo games were done only in English. Dante got a Japanese actor for the DMC anime, MvC3 and Project X Zone though.

Or, y'know, the script wasn't exactly great. Seriously, Platinum are great at game design but when it comes to narrative or scripts they are freaking IDIOTS.

If there was ever a phrase that could manage to be worse than "Bayonetta going Wii-U exclusive", it's "Bayonetta anime by Gonzo"
