Took them long enough to come up with the LCL orange juice.... My friends and I have been joking about it since we saw the show.

That dialogue on the case cracks me the hell up! Oh Gainax, I'm just waiting for EVA plug tampons and the cycle of merchandising madness will be complete.

....LCL juice?? EW. Why would I want to drink that??
At least they're obviously not taking themselves too seriously with this, but...that's still kinda...weird.

And more than 10 years later, the EVA marketing train rolls on.
Gainax actually had EVA ads during the big New Year's Eve shows in Japan (specifically K-1 Dynamite), which shows just how much they're still pushing it.

I just hope they don't make a "Shinji special hospital blend" mocha.

Even though this is clearly another way for Gainax to milk the giant dead cow that is Evangelion, I want some of that LCL orange juice....

Entirely too cool. I can't wait for some online retailers here in the the US to stock these. From looking at the pictures on the link, I didn't see the coin bank "freebie", or is it just that the box has a slot to put coins in when it's empty?

Yet another fine product from Gainax's marketing department...
However, somehow, somehow I know that given the chance, I would find a way to buy a case of this stuff.

Well this is certainly a nice way to rake in the money, certainly. I have a couple predictions.
Maybe this will spawn more anime featured items down the road? Depending on the sales that is. With this being developed, maybe we could also lead to company's promoting new titles or something to that effect. You think?

Oh man, as creepy as drinking LCL juice would be... that's just perfect. I'd so totally buy a case of it if I could.
