I recently saw the PV for "Mr. Moonlight" by Morning Musume, and it's very cool! The song and vidoe are 50s themed, and seeing Yossie, Gocchin, and Nacchi as guys-priceless

My fave videos are:
-Never End (Siam Shade): The layout, the mysterious beginning (a bittoo lng but I liked it) and of course, watching Hideki, Kazuma, Daita, Junji and Natin play like there's no tomorrow makes me squeal. -Wild Rush (T.M. Revolution): Takanori looks so funny (and cute) in that monkey outfit, I can't help but laugh. And the song's pretty catchy .
-No. 1 (BoA): What can I say? The song, the dance, the layout... I love watching it over and over again (even though I can't dnace like her), but I don't know how to justify it. -Yo Bailo (Jobairo) (Porno Graffiti): Loved the story within the video, and listening to the bandoneón (Argentinean accordion used in tango) made a chill go up my spine. And though it's merely instrumental... -Fresh Push Breaking (HIFANA): The song's catchy, and seeing them in action is pretty cool. I know this isn't a good enough raeson, but it's the only thing I can say. |

I'm pretty much a newbie to the whole j-pop scene. I've known about it long enough but I've never really listened to anything until Shiina Ringo. From the few videos I've seen by her they're all kinda cool but nothing I'd call my favorite. However the new pv for stars shining out by olivia is really awesome because it's the most interesting japanese music video I've ever seen(The backgrounds amused me a lot for some reason). I don't know but I've probably disillusioned myself after I watched the music videos for Hikari the japanese pv for simple and clean (all she was doing was doing was washing dishes*bore*) and the DAI vids for Fukai Mori and and Shinjustu no Uta.

Music vids, well there are a few that come to mind.
Utada Hikaru-Keep Tryin', such a wierd vid that involves her cosplaying as a waitress, school girl, and stewardess. 
Morning Musume-can't really say I'm a fan of them in paricular, but i found an awesome vid to one of their songs http://youtube.com/watch?v=KwssV7E_KHs The song itself might only be rated as very good or average, but I LOVE their dancing in this vid. So vivacious.

The video for JOYRIDE by Home Made Kazoku is really fun. I love the song, and I think the video works really well for it. I also have a schoolgirl crush on Micro ^^;;;
-doesn't watch too many music videos- The one for Joujoushi is indeed gorgeous, though. o_o And there's a video for Rolling Star? -must find!- |

I havn't see a lot of them recently but. One that I did like would have to be H.O.T Outside Castle. It's a little old now but the dancing is great and I love the beat.
