Well, Mikuru wears a red one in the first and third episodes.
Unfortunately changing the color wouldn't work, as there are indeed Playboy bunnies of all colors. See here for a blue one. |

Someone posted something similar at the forum I moderate. But from what I've heard, the crew that made Haruhi have gone their seperate ways working on different projects now. Unless they're going to be using a different crew, it's hard to see them producing a second season until 2008.

Man, that certainly makes me cautiously optimistic.
I hope it's not the case of Kadokawa rushing the peeps of KyoAni to make the second season earlier. |

Yeah, I'd really like a good (read: Official) source before I start celebrating. Moon Phase seems to be pretty accurate, but I don't want to jump for joy just yet.
I'd imagine we will see something on the ANN (and/or AoD) front page when there is an official announcement. |

It's BACK!! The thread that never DIES!!
On to the topic now, I could not get episode 0 at first. But after watching into it more, I understood what was going on, and realized this must be like a prequel when it's not. Very confusing. "Episode 1" seemed like episode one, the way I read it in the manga, thank you very much. Haruhi gives her answers straight and without hesitation or embarrassment. I need to hear what they will say in English, should the heavenly license make its way overseas. On a last note, were they trying to revive parapara? |

Ahhh, episode "0"! I can't say much about the significance of that or where it fits chronologically unless I blurt out rather big spoilers (or if you look carefully through this thread and other places in the internet).

Yikes! I should have heeded your warning instead of blindly clicking on that! Ok, sorry to bring back a topic from mid October but I keep thinking about the R2 DVDs being released in sequential order as opposed to broadcast order. Now if the series is ever picked up in the US they'll probably release it the same way. So my question for the R2 owners, what did they do with the next episode previews at the end of each episode? Did they leave them in or take them out? I know it is just a miniscule part of each episode but I thought those were absolutely hilarious and would hate them to be left out of a release. But if they left them in and someone was watching them in sequential order for the first time it would probably confuse them, and not just because Haruhi would be right and Kyon would be wrong, but also because the upcoming episode images would not match up. |

Oh, those episode previews! I heard they redid them with Yuki Nagato narrating them instead. Nonetheless, it would really suck for the U.S. company to release them in the "DVD" order like the Japanese versions.
I hope to GOD that whoever license this series will have the balls to convince the Japanese licensor to have them release them in the broadcast order. |
