$5 would be good if I were interested in hearing the dub ahead of time just so I knew what I was getting into, but I'm not that hardcore an Utaware fan.
I will be buying the DVD, though. I'm thinking ADV would like that more. (Although they probably wouldn't mind me buying both the 1st ep and the DVD) |

Eluluu?! Holy crap I slapped my forehead hard. I wonder why ADV decided to go with Eluluu instead of Eruruu? Geez, I'm so used to hearing and saying Eruruu that at this point anything else just seems awkward. ... Now I wonder if ADV changed any of the other names around? Is the dub going to have the likes of Aluluu, Obolo, Hakuolo, Kalula, etc? |

Check the cast list:
anime#5746 Eluluu's name seems to be the only one changed. Ahhh, it's one of those "l" or "r" sounds that you pretty much can't tell.

So they're altering Eruruu's name to Eluluu, yet they're keeping Aruruu's name the way it was?
I don't really mind them changing the name as the "r" sound in Japanese is oftentimes ambiguous anyway, but if you're going to change one, change the other too (Eluluu and Aruruu hardly seem like sisters anymore). |
