This might've already been answered a while ago, but does anyone know if Scrapped Princess got licensed at either Otakon or AX2003?

Or even if its a late announced thing, does anyone know? I'm dying to get a hold of it!

There's nothing listed in the Encyclopedia so I think it's safe to say it hasn't been licensed yet.

I'm still able to easily get my fansubs, so I'd say it's a no.

of course, that has little bearing on licensing status, as we've seen with how easy it is to find subs of Shaman King and Gundam Seed...

Still, while Scrapped Princess is a hot title, no one's said publically that they've licensed it yet.

I usually take a look at [EDIT - Fansub URL -C]. If it's listed there, you can say it's not licensed, because series are removed as soon as they get licensed.

Okay, so if its still in fansub I wonder who might be the most likely to pick it up. My money's on either ADV or Pioneer.

For some reason, and I can't explaine it, I keep feeling like Bandai should be the ones to get it. Especially now that they're doing they're own distribution it might be a good title to add to the ranks.

I'd say pioneer. ADV has surprised me with some of the titles they've gotten hold of lately, so they'd be my 2nd guess.
