Does anyone remember the X day manga. its only 2 volumes and a very interesting unique story. it about a group of emoish people meeting through a chat room at school and hate this school....so they want to get rid of it.

its dramaish but a great rare find in manga for its out of print and been so for some time now.

spoiler[who doesnt want to blow up the school.]

I really enjoyed that manga. You should give Anne Freaks a try. It reminds me a lot of X-Day in the characters and mood of the story

I adore X Day, but I love the "The Last Supper", the short story in the back of volume two, even more. It's only about twenty pages long, but it's one of the most depressing comics I've ever read. I read this story at school, and I actually had to run out the classroom door bawl my eyes out in the bathroom like a psychotic, overly-dependant girl whose boyfriend just dumped her when spoiler[the kid found out he was eating his best friend.] It's such a shame this excellent story is out of print. Sad

I have to agree, The Last Supper seemed more moving and eternal than X-Day -- as good as that series was. All of you might know this but the woman who created X-Day also made After School Ninghtmare. I haven't read it yet, but I would like to some day. Smile

I loved the series! It was one of the first manga I have ever bought as a child and loved it from the start. You never really see X-Day in any stores which is a shame.

I just don't think it appeals to people. The book has been out fairly long and I believe it's rare/hard to find?

The book is out of print, which is why it's not in any bookstores, unless they were a secondhand store.

I don't remember having too much trouble finding it a few years ago when I bought both books. However, for an OOP book it was super cheap and I did find that kind of sad. I felt that was a reflection of how undervalued the book was even while it was in print. Sad
