Akiba Drug & Cafe establishment... What, you can pop some pills while drinking an iced coffee and a omelet with your name on it?

I like Attack on Titan as much as the next guy, but doing that to a Ferrari is borderline criminal.

I knew... JUST KNEW that someone would say that. It's a drugstore with a ridiculous, Japanese name. Engrish. I'm so used to these kind of things since I live here...

Well, I wonder if there's still any thing left that isn't AoT themed yet...

I'm sure there's a way to make an AoT themed Ferrari look good, but that ain't it. Yeesh!
And to think of how much that had to cost. Double yeesh!

Once upon a time, it wasn't uncommon for drug stores here in the United States to have anything from a "soda fountain" (a counter with stools, serving cold drinks and ice cream treats) to effectively a small fast food cafe with a grill and seating.
We still had a couple of each type when I was a kid in the small town I grew up in.

Is it just me or does this feel really macabre.

Glad I wasn't the only one creeped out by the body suit.

I find thinking about the differences between Japanese and US marketing strategies to be extremely interesting. I wish I could learn about this from someone a bit more knowledgable than myself. To someone like me, it just seems like Japanese companies have marketing departments that fail to make efficient use of their budgets with strange stunts like this, but then again I have next to zero knowledge of the Japanese consumer. Maybe there will be a panel about this at Otakon, which will be my first convention.

A stupid amount of marketing in Japan these days is literally getting people to retweet things.
Ever noticed how the top trending tweets often are from Japan, despite Japan having so much less population? That's because they retweet WAY more than westerners (also because kanji makes the character limit a lot easier)
If you can get something with 1 interesting picture that can be summed up in a tweet, and it gets retweeted 500,000 times, even ruining a Ferrari might be worth it.

I'd say there's about a 99.999% chance it's a vinyl wrap. It peels off, then you wax the Ferrari and it looks as good as new.
