It seems that a lot of people thnk Linken Park is emo just because of the song "Crawlin'". But I don't see why they would be emo just because they sang "Crawlin'" which sounded like an emo song.

That article said that fan-made movies are also ONAs. I thought they didn't count. So are AMVs also ONA anime?
You just answered your own question. Some people will only hear one song and judge the entire band based on it. It's kind of like when people who've only seen a few episodes of Dragon Ball on TV declare that all anime sucks. |

wow, this topic was asking for what kind of anime they should watch but instead turned into a whole discussion on the stupid word emo. ever since myspace became big the word emo got twisted into a group status, its a type of music, but people all the sudden think its a style...the way its been thrown around by so many posers over the past couple years has most likely made the term into another label. if you dont know what it is, then dont try and explain it. and linkin park is not emo by any means.
Anyways. if you used the term in its label for (which i assume so since it wouldnt make sense in its true form) i think that Loveless would be a good anime to watch. Plus its just really freakin cute to watch. Blood+ is also pretty dark, but that has more violance then anything else |
