Huh. The title intrigues me. Wonder what the chances are of this not being an attempt to just make money off of the name (ie, the naruto and one piece movies).

Zero? If Bleach continues to be a popular franchise in Japan, we'll have a second one next year. These were just clips from the show, though. Kind of a bummer. Here's to hoping the film has a level of quality at least to the current filler saga. At least I think it should be able to best the Naruto movies. |

That's because it was aired on Japanese TV before they officially posted it on their website. I remember seeing it in Japan. It was a few days before the news about the movie was posted on ANN... but I was too caught up with other things to actually report it and I was going to... but it was already here when I got back to the US. |

Yeah, this news piece is odd. While the trailer that ANN posted is quite old, there actually IS a new trailer up on the official movie website:

Okay, that new one would make sense since it was just posted yesterday. I think that's what they meant to post. The other one has been on the website for a while apparently, so I don't understand why ANN would post it just now. Edit: Link is fixed now. Also, I just noticed that the news for the Bleach movie trailer was posted but the trailer for the new Kanon anime wasn't posted. It was right next to the Bleach article on Animenation so I don't know why it wasn't. If they didn't notice it though, I can understand though. |

Let's just hope it's not going to be a compilation of what we have already seen in the show (i.e. like the OAVs)...

He reminded me of the first generation Undertaker. This trailer told me even less about the movie. I'm becoming convinced there is no movie, but cropped scenes from the Soul Society and Ichigo all decked out in Bankai gear. |

I was hoping that this trailer would actually tell us something about the movie, but sadly it doesn't. It's interesting that the voice over is all in English though.
