Error: It should be "Kitade," not "Kikade."

Jonathan and I find it hilarious that we're getting the news from Tofu's street team, and not Tofu directly. Maybe they shoud, y'know, send out press releases. Oh well, we'll gang up on Ai regarding that next month when we see her in person. -t |

Well, Tofu hasn't OFFICIALLY announced it yet, they have just told me and I have gotten a press release from their distributor, AAA Anime.
They always wait until the last minute. I have some other news about a Fullmetal Alchemist album that was just released. |

It's a CD, right? In July? Did I get any of that post right at all? |

Ah, I see. I was going to ask if it was Tofu Records or not. They do have the license for all of SME's artists, right? Well, I'm not much of a fan of Nana Kitade anyway, but Tofu should hurry up and release some more Ajikan over here! |

Haha, yeah, it's called "18 -eighteen-" and drops on 7/11. You did a good job, yeah it's an album, yeah it's Tofu Records, and yeah it will be good.
And... keep your eyes out for Ajikan. And Tamaki Nami. And Hyde, who's album drops on 6/27! |

Ah, don't do the keep-your-eyes-out thing. We need details! ;p |

Then you should start keeping an eye on this page: http://www.aaaanime.com/manufacturersearch.asp?search=Tofu+Records New listings for Tofu Records' releases tend to go up on that first, sometimes well before TR makes the actual announcements on their webpage. |

That is Tofu's distributor, and yes, they will announce things before Tofu.
I don't know why Tofu is so slow at announcing things, especially an album that comes out in just two months. |

w00t! Does this mean Fan Club will be released over here soon? Or maybe some of Ajikan's older albums? |

Tofu Records has stated that they have no current plans to bring over any of the older releases of the artists they're releasing cds for. So it would probably be most likely for the new album, not any of the older ones. |

Probably for the same reason they sometimes ask us to wait -- the incomparable joys of dealing with simultaneous announcements in two countries, and the weirdness of the distribution chain in general. Marketing often defeats common sense. |
