Baba also replied that Maeda is always at the center of Key.

Except on Rewrite. And half the routes of Little Busters! >.<

Anyway, the games are always better than the anime so I can't wait

They probably don't want a situation like Clannad where it was delayed for years. Nothing is worse than delay after expecting a release. Fans will wait for quality Smile

I think they've learned their lesson after Rewrite bombed (in comparison to other Key titles) that they need Maeda to write the stories.

Well, it didn't bomb. If you want to prove it though - show me the numbers.
And it's funny actually that after it "bombed" they even decided to release a fandisc Rolling Eyes

Romeo Tanaka, Ryukishi07 and Yuuto Tonokawa. And the story is your standard Key plotline where there's a seemingly ordinary boy at an ordinary high school surrounded by ordinary girls having ordinary harem antics, but then they discover a Mysterious Secret which requires you to play through all the routes to fully understand.

So, basically, we'll get this announcement on April 1st like usual.

As for Rewrite, I'll agree that is wasn't Keys best game, but this is also the first time that they have tried to be adventurous and really take the story outside of a small-scale setting with small scale implications. I still think that it was very good and quite interesting.

Now this is something I am really glad to hear about!

Yes, indeed. I have no problems with the other scriptwriters, but I think the only one that could give me a huge impact is just Maeda.
Even though Maeda wasn't involved in Rewrite, I think Rewrite is a good VN, even though it isn't Key-like.

I'd read it if there was an arc dedicated to TK.

He was my favorite character! So little screen time!

Now, seriously. I'm far more interested about the possibilities of arcs and extended plots for all the weirdos. T.K. and "Cristo" were priceless. Shame they are also guys, so the chance of getting a full arc of each one must be very thin.

I mean, he's not involved in scenario writing. I heard he didn't write any script for Rewrite because he wants to concentrate on writing music, but maybe this is the real reason.

He didn't write a lot of music for other Key works actually Rolling Eyes
Even in Angel Beats he wrote only opening, ending and several tracks.
Well, considering Rewrite, he wrote one BGM track and the endings for Terra and Moon routes.
