Every once in a while, when I click the small icon of "view latest post" (either orange or white), the result is an error message: "Information: No posts exist for this topic." This bug often happens when the number of posts in a thread reaches the repaginate point i.e. multiplies of 15. For example, if a thread contains 90 replies (91 total posts), then when I click the "view latest post" icon I should be redirected to the 91st post, which is located at the top of page 7. On the contrary, sometimes there are only 89 replies (90 total posts) when I count them manually, thus the error message was generated.
It's not a big issue. However, I'd be grateful if the problem can be solved without too much fuss. |

If it's only very occasionally, could it be that the poster or a mod has deleted the post between you loading the forum index and opening the thread itself?

That was what I thought and was probably the only reasonable explanation, yet I've found this problem persisting for days or even weeks (if there's no new post in that thread), so it's unlikely the forum index page was just temporarily unsynchronized. Either it's unsynchronized for an extended period of time (which it shouldn't be) or there's some other problem(s). |
