I'm guessing "Products include manga" means Japanese language manga. Would be nice if Tezuka Productions mentions that this doesn't (or does) make a difference to the Tezuka manga already published in English, particularly by Vertical, since Random House distributes Vertical's titles.

Vertical has worked with Diamond comics in the past, one example is the rare hardcover editions of the first 3 volumes of black jack.

I have the first two hardcovers. Managed to find them in stock locally. Had to settle for the paperback of volume 3.

IIRC Ed has mentioned that Vertical's sales through comic shops have been pretty good.

I have all 3 and ironically vol 3 was the only one I found at a local store

Regardless of which language, I wonder if this partnership will exempt them from the usual order-levels. Otherwise, it may end up being a rather short partnership based on the way many titles were treated a few years ago.
