I don't get it. Do people actually buy these special edition PS3s? I mean it looks cool and all that, but If you want to buy Revengeance, you probably already own a ps3. Who wants more than one of a conceal?

It is also a wireless Blu-ray player... maybe they could have one in the living room and one in the bedroom?

Wireless bluray players can be had for less than $100 nowadays.

The website still has the premise from late 2011. Wonder if it'll change

You have a call on the line, its your brain calling asking you to stop embarrassing it. This console is a limited edition and seems to be exclusive only in Japan. If you even remotely follow what goes on in Japan (I assume you would at this site) then you would know this kind of stuff is big in Japan, with them getting easily triple, quadruple or more variations of system. And do people want them. Hell yes, if they released the White Ni no Kuni PS3 here in the US it would probably sell out very quickly.
Let me tell you, the people running these companies probably know a little more than you do, and if it was not popular they would have stopped releasing special edition consoles back in the earlier days of the gba/ps2/gamecube.
