Oh wait you mean spoiler[his cousin not recognising him], well I guess that is a little silly, but I guess there is a change to hair, ears and a possible change to skin complection that may be particular to in game race that would be hard to convey through the characte design.

Maybe she is also too distracted by his dreamy fairy body? Especially if Kirito is spoiler[her type, she probably doesn't expect to see him there, in the middle of the wilderness when she is not aware of him playing it].

I see a distinct lack of certain people admitting that they were wrong in thinking that the players were unable to get in contact with one another and that everyone thought Kirito to be dead.

I just wanted to point out that some people might be feeling a little sheepish to suggest that everyone in the final boss room thought Kirito was dead. Now, maybe Kirito had only told Agil/Egil about his survival, but that's pure speculati.

Since the last couple posts have mentioned the character, Egil, let me say that I give major kudos to the SAO production team for including a character who happens to be dark skinned but does not look like some kind of outrageous, over the top stereotype clown. It is really a sad commentary about Anime that something so simple has to be celebrated like this, but it seems to be the exception rather than the rule that such characters will look and act like normal human beings rather than crude stereotypes.

Yes, I am certainly pleased to see SAO breaking away from that mold. Frankly, I am amazed that those kind of characters are still popular in Anime.

I'm not buying this, mainly because there has been no effort to make him look any different on the part of the animators (barring the ears).
