The problem is that you seem to think that something is bad simply because its got high school students. Which is obviously both laughable and ignorant. |

Evangelion is about characters, some of which which attend high school sometimes. Not a show about high school. |

But you have an Evangelion avatar, and that show is about school students. Anyway, really looking forward to Gyrozetter and the new Battle Spirits. None of the Battle Spirits have been as good as the first one, but the pictures and stuff I've seen make me think this might be a good one, I'll have to see. |

funny how NakaImo was oneo f the most anticipated shows of summer but its gonna sell less than ~1k....
I guess the polls don't show which show will sell well.... And it was kinda weird how in one of these polls for Spring, Hyouka topped kuroko by a lot of votes yet kuroko ended up selling way more than hyouka. hmm... still, glad to see that K project, Zetsuen no tempest and the three shoujos aren't THAT low on the list. K is in the top 10 and Zetsuen is no.11. |

Yep, nothing on this list interests me. This isn't the kind of anime I like.
And I don't get the idea that yeah "Eva is a high school show too or whatever". Evangelion dosen't center around High School at all and well while this may sound funny the high school setting is treated kind of realistic. Like yeah they are in high school because Shinji and Co are freaking Kids, where else are they supposed to be? It's hard to explain. Normally I too hate shows about highscool anime kids that seem to populate anime these days. mostly because these high schools are treated as basically like awesome fun places where these anime teens lead there lives and there's nothing else going outside of their school or some unrealistic shit. In Eva, going to high school is treated as just a function of of a normal teens life. Hell they really only go to keep up some form of normality. Anyway hopefully something more akin to my taste pops up this season. It's hard being an anime fan these days for people like me. |
