Whats the difference between being the director and the series director?

Could possibly mean that they're planning more than one series(/season)? One guy to over look it all, and another for this particular segment. Then you have a director of each episode too. Lots of directors...

Can't say that I've ever heard of David Production, and the cast doesn't seem impressive.

They've only done Level E, Inu x Boku and Ben-to off the top of my head. It seems like its mainly the Inu x Boku team here though.

That is very good staff there,I was mostly impressed Takao Shimizu.Dude did the animation for Samurai Champloo enough said. The director seems like he can handle action pretty well, and Yasuko Kobayashi worked on some old fashioned series so that gives me hope that she knows what people are looking for.

While I don't know much of the staff it sounds promising. This is one of those things I'm hoping if good will be one of the longer shows that I will get to sink my time into. Here's hoping this will be a good show and a good homage to the manga.

I have to imagine that the specifics will vary from case to case, but I'd think that one of them is only going to supervise the other and not handle most of the day to day tasks. Perhaps the exact details will be made clear in due time.

Couldn't agree more, I spazzed out with joy when I read that line.

They did Book of Bantorra which some really nice animation during its fight sequences. They've also assisted on some good looking shows.

While I'm disappointed that they didn't get the composers from the CAPCOM video game to do the music for the series, I'm still looking forward to this show this Fall.
I can't wait for the first episode!

Not really digging the staff or the studio. Book of Bantorra had Fumiaki Kouta as the action director and he's not here. Ben-To had Shin Itagaki as director and he's not here either. I'll be setting my expectations low.
