Interesting to see Gen Urobuchi take a stab at sci-fi. At this rate, he may very well be the master of all genres if this succeeds as well.

Urobuchi's on the team?
I'm betting that half the cast is either gonna be dead or in intense therapy by the end of the story.

Urobuchi is a master of horror, tragedy, sci-fi, and general deconstructions. Not every genre--I can't see him doing a comedy (though that would be hilarious).

Haven't seen Blassereiter I assume?
He was one of the creators of that.
And that was grimdark. Like 10 x more Grimdark as most people see him writing.
I wasn't aware that he was onboard with this. But then again, I was interested because Nitro +.

Based on his interactions with fans at cons, I'd say that he's naturally a rather funny person.

Weird. He stated in an interview, that he has nothing but contempt for what us normal human beings called "happiness".
But he may just have been playing up his love for horror and tragedy.
