Sakura Diaries is one of my favorite shows. I was disappointed to know that it couldn't continue.

I'm probably atypical, but I liked the edited version better. I'm not anti-fan service, I even have some other Ujin titles, but it just doesn't fit with an otherwise adorable, awkward (in a good way) romance.

ADV may have flubbed the first time around with Sakura Diaries, but this revamped rerelease shows that they are trying to make up for past mistakes.

That, or simply make more money on re-releasing an older series, as they are well-known to do.
