How do you remember watching anime? What anime do you think about and go "Damn I haven't seen that in a while, surprised I even remember it."
Me, I remember staying up til 2 A.M. early Sunday morning and watching anime on the Sci-Fi Channel. I remember watching shows like E.Y.E.S. of Mars, Iria:The Zeirem Animation, and Galaxy Epress 999. Thoses were the good old days.

I just recently was talking to someone and the movie Ringing Bell (Chirin no Suzu in Japan) got mentioned... I mentioned that I remembered watching it sometime while I was still in elementary school (mid-late 80's) and got all nostalgic... I even looked about for a copy of it on ebay and amazon.com... but I'm not really sure I want to spend $40 on a VHS of unknown quality to re-watch it. honestly, every time I find someone who remembers that movie I'm like

I remember being up at like 2:00 am on a random thursday and I was flipping through the channels when I landed on the sci-fi channel which was airing Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. The on another random thursday night, I saw Galaxy Express 999 on sci-fi. Right after that though, sci-fi stopped airing anime .

Who cares if it was dubbed? Unless you mean back in the '80s, because today, dubs are much better.

I remember Saturday on sci-fi channel it was 8 am always got up for it they called it like anime mourning or something like that and they alwyas had an anime on Iria, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Urueisa Yatsura(didn't spell it correctly forgive me), Venus Wars, Shinjku city, demon city, Macross, and then it just stop playing then i was back to watching toonami which had my favorite show robotech but the rest to me was boring no offense to the dbz people out there but that show was only good during the vegata part coming to earth for the dragon balls after that completely hated it, but i still love anime and i go out and buy anime i never even heard of but thought would be interesting
like yesterday went and bought Gun Parade March it was good for a love teenager story with alot of good jokes in it but the background story needed more to it was suppose to be about a war with aliens where most humanity forces r gone that they had to train teenagers and it was only 12 episodes long but i liked the love story they just should of added more in to the war, and to me a normal season should be at a minimum of 24 episodes and max of 32 episodes if they had 12 more episodes they could of put more in the war but i would suggest this anime if u like funny love stories with soem drama in it plus i found out it was a video game so if u liked the video game u might want to get it.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, remember love. I couldn't understand a single word you just posted. Slow down and proofread your sentences before posting them.

I'll state it differently then.
I remember on saturday sci-fi channel had an anime mourning broadcasting around 8:00 a.m. Where they used to play movies of Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Urueisa Yatsura, etc.
But after a while they got rid of it for unknown reasons and I had to go back to watching toonami, where it has my favorite show, Robotech, but I hated the other shows. Specifically I didn't like dragon ball z
and what i was writing about gunparade march im not sure it's very early in the mourning and I haven't been sleeping do to insamia , not sure if that's how you spell it though and I dont have a dictionary on hand.
