Today I just came up with this Idea cause I was really bored as hell in math class and I really wanted to come up with another topic for a thread.....................and so this is what I got. I was thinking about some of the most hilarious characters in anime and I though since theres a top ten favourite animes and 5 least I though about making something like that but for characters. Well now to the main topic and to stop my ranting about how I came up with this idea. Here we go:
#1. Shinobu Morita (Honey & Clover) - How can I explain the ingenious character of Shinobu Morita..........hmmm............let me sum it up with his famous words in episode 1 spoiler["NO MORE!"] or his famous spoiler[crying] scene in episode 4 and 5 or his infamous rspoiler[eturn from america] in episode 18. But that won't do. To sum it all as just what he does shows no respect for the time and effort (if there was any) in creating a character as unique as him. Since I can't explain it in words you'll all just have to watch the first episode to see what i'm talking about. #2. Pochi (He Is My Master) - You can't go wrong with a spoiler[raping] alligator going after the main female character. Pochi in my opinion was just a mascot for the series but the creators made good use of him and his qualities. To watch an alligator go after a girl and try to bite off her clothes is indescribeably funny (well at least to me because it reminds me of dogs going to hump my friends leg heh heh  ).
#3. Vash The Stampede (Trigun) - Vash the stampede is one of my most favourite and hilarious characters out there. From his wild gun fights and dangerously but hilarious situations he gets in its just a roller coster of laughs for me watching him run around. #4. Miroku (Inuyasha) - A perverted monk, can't get any better than that. Not only that but his persistence with groping sango and never quitting though he knows he'll get slapped just pure laugh out loud material to me. #5. Naruto (Naruto) - From his boasting to his unorthodoxed ninja techniques Naruto is one of the more hilarious characters out there. And to prove my point a small sample of Naruto's hilariousness (if thats even a word) is in the Naruto Special 3: Konoha Village's Great Sports Festival! 6#. Puuchan (Gokujou Seitokai) - A living puppet that insults and out smarts real people (well real in the anime) is an ingenius character in my mind. Not only that but the fact that he is more powerful than most of the Gokujou Seitokai and is able to get his revenge during episode 6 is really fun to watch. #7. Don Kononji (Bleach) - Bohahahahahahaha! Even though this character was a one time character on the show he still ranks as one of the most hilarious characters ever. His catch line "Bohahahahaha!" is one of the funniest things ever! And the fact that he thinks he knows everything about dealing with the ghosts he sees is funny. Not to mention his special attack Cannon Ball which he did in a cool pose though the ball of energy was really small and slow in reaching Ichigo but actually ended up being really powerful was frickin hilarious. Not to mention that even though Ichigo beat the Hollow Don Kononji accepted him as his apprentice was hilarious as Ichigo could only yell out that he had been demoted. Bohahahahahahahaha! If your wondering why he is at the #7 spot even though I've put a very good reason that should make him in the top 5 the reason is that he is a one episode character. #8. Kon (Bleach) - A falt-faced lion puppet that has a mod-soul in it.............how cool is that. Not only that but he's perverted to the very core and always tries to get near a girl's chest (most notable inoue's but lets see what'll happen when he meets the female captains and vice-captains in soul society). Perverted at heart and always ending up in a situation where he needs Ichigo or Rukia is always funny. If you want a good example of how funny he is watch episode 50 and you'll know. Brain not working today (really angry at the moment) i'll edit this tommorow. Anyways please add what you can and go into detail with why they are hilarious or why they are dull. If a character has already been mention above or anywhere else in the thread then thats okay. Just try to add a reason is all i'm asking. Yes math class can be very boring.
Hilarious: 10. Mr. Kurosaki [Ichigo's dad] (Bleach)- He's so random and clueless, although you dont get to see him much in the series, he still makes my top 10. He's constanly being perverted to his 2 daughters (im not sure he realizes it) but in a funny kind of way (in one ep he say's to his daughters "Lets all sleep in daddy's bed tonight!") even though that may sound very very bad, it's still funny the way he says it, and the way he always gets hit by his daughter for it. He likes to randomly attack Ichigo, and Ichigo likes to randomly attack him back, it makes me laugh how much he keeps up a positive attiude all the time. 9. Mugen (Samurai Champloo)- His attitude is very laid back and he always makes situations look funny (maybe its just the art work but i think its him). For instance in the first ep when he decides to spoiler[break the guys fingers to count and then gets bored and says he'll just break them all] made me laugh so hard. 8.Naruto (Naruto)- Much like Mugen he tends to make a situation that could be serious turn out to be hilarious. Also he just says alot of funny stuff, like my favorite naruto quote from ep 101 spoiler["Hey Sakura... wanna see it?"]. 7.Kakashi (Naruto)- He's a lazy ninja who likes to read dirty novles, and i love how he can change from angery to happy in a split second. He is my favorite anime character in the world simply because he reminds me of myself if i were a godly ninja jounin. 6.Miroku (Inu-Yasha)- Much like IchigoK90 said, he's a perverted, sex driven, womanizing.... monk? The whole concept of his character is funny, but the fact that everything perverted he does seems to come as natural as breathing to him makes it even better. 5.Excel (Excel Saga)- She's just so ditzy, its funny how she loves the boss so much but he would spoiler[let her drown in front of him] (ep 2 i think). She seems so clueless as to what's going on in the first few ep's its hilarious. 4.Keitarou (love hina)- Trouble always seems to find him and he's always getting punished for things he did by accident or for sometning he didn't do. He trys so hard to be careful and to get the girls trust but they just don't buy it, its so sad... yet funny. 3.Sumomo (Chobits)- She's a mobile persocon that's loud and annoying for her size, but she's funny non the less. She always pop's out at Hideki and then says she's scared of him when she see's his reaction. She sings alot, and creeps people out in a way that makes me laugh and want to watch it over again. 2.Kaolla Su (love hina)- She's so random it's mindbogoling. She's always making inventions that are.. questionable, shall we say (Mecha Tama-chan 3) and they end up back fireing on Keitarou. She's forign so she doesn't know much about some words meanings (for instance when she first hears about tokyo U. she ask's if its a food). Her randomness and wierdness always makes me smile, making her one of my fav characterss from Love Hina. 1. Mitsune (Love Hina)- Again another person who does things at random, when she's drunk she's random and weird, when she's sober she's manipulative and cunning. She act's ditzy to get Keitarou to misunderstand her (which he often does) then STRIKES! An expample of this is in one ep when spoiler[something goes missing in the Hinata house and she puts on a detective outfit and goes around the house as a detective]. She's always making Keitarou look bad or perverted making him get his ass kicked by Naru which is always a fun thing to watch. Overall her randomness and her slyness makes her a character that you enjoy watching. Dull Characters. Only going to list 2 because im to lazy to think of more. 2.Kira (Gundam Seed/Gundam Seed Destiny)- He's so quiet and worried all the time, when he does talk you want him to shut up because he's usulay talking about how he hates fighting or hates himself for fighting. He always makes a grunting noise (as do most Seed characters), which gets very very annoying. His character took very little development because he has no real personality he's just quiet and doesnt like to fight and is mostly confused about who he is and what he's doing. 1.Sakura (Naruto)- Sakura is just to self abusive. She think's she's always in the way of Naruto and Sasuke during missions spoiler[even though she got over it in the chunin exam saga when she faught the hidden sound ninja's and then faught Ino.] I just can't stand how she blames herself and feels sorry for herself all the time. those are, in my opinon the most hilarious/dull characters in anime. Ill update later on when i watch more and think of other ones. |
