Hm... What about all the people who don't go to conventions? Shouldn't there be the option 0 (zero)? Not that I wouldn't love to go to a convention, but there aren't any in my area...

I agree. I haven't yet attended an anime convention in my lifetime. I would like to, but my work schedule, plus other personal and domestic issues, prevent me from doing so. Crying or Very sad I'm hoping to attend at least a couple of cons next year (if my personal situation allows me to do so.)

I went to one in Southampton, England a few years ago. I haven't been to another since. I looked and felt like someone's parent at a high school reunion. Got more strange looks than the cosplayers. Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop

There are usually a couple of cons a year (maybe more) in various places in the UK, and at least two that I know of in Germany. A quick look at anime-cons.com shows Kepten, Germany, in October and the International Manga & Anime Festival in London, both in October, so finding a con near you regardless of where you are might not be nearly as hard as you think.
