You mean adjust your TV to 16:9 widescreen mode (some 4:3 TV's have this option, like my 27" JVC TV). For some odd reason, they squeezed the movie into 4:3 so it was all distorted. |

Because it's Adult Swim. It starts late, and so far this year, all of their film premieres have been at midnight, so it's not really anything new either.

Did anyone ever hear what supposedly happened with that? It isn't like Adult Swim doesn't air Widescreen shows and movies. Did Viz send them the wrong master tape or did someone hit the wrong switch or what, I wonder? |

Try Saturday night. Anime doesn't air on Sunday nights.
