O-M-G!
I don't know why ear-cleaning of all things, but this is cool. The video needs to play some Rainbow Road music "Let's get on the rainbow, to clean your ears with shine~~" |

I imagine that the part about resting heads on the laps of the employees is more of a draw than the cleaning of the ears itself.

I am sorry if this offends anyone, but the whole concept of ear cleaning by someone just sounds plain gross and unbelievably unusual.
Using very sharp bamboo spears sounds like a great way to do some damage to your ear canal as well. Japan, you can be very odd at times. As this begs the question, what does personal hygiene have anything with Mario? |

Well, Mario has been a doctor. It makes sense to promote healthy... ear cleaning... Yeah, it's something about Japan I'll never get. |

I remember ear cleaning by my mother when I was a kid to be a very relaxing experience, but she used a bobby pin and cotton swaps, not a sharpened piece of bamboo.

Japanese have different ear wax compared to caucasians and blacks, that is why it can be removed with a bamboo mimikaki ear pick.

different how? Does it harden into titanium steel or something? The ear canal is a very sensitive place, technically speaking even cutips aren't the best things to be putting into them, people really should be using wet cloths to avoid causing any damage, but I digress. Weirdness aside, the go-carts were kind of cool. |

I'm not an expert on this; here's what Wikipedia says. It's apparently the same gene that allows the Japanese not to need deodorant. Those ear-cleaning tools apparently go back for centuries; I remember seeing some in a Japanese museum. |

Pay for what you can do in the shower by simply sticking your finger in there.

I've read about that. It makes perfect sense given the circumstances unlike the ease some of us have to cleaning our own ears effectively.
Let alone slower hair growth. There's plenty of positive and negative points about genes I find interesting to look into. |

I'm pretty sure this service is for people with aural fetishes.
