Guess their having crossover fever right now...
It's all good and fine for Sket Dance, but since Bakuman is a straightforward narrative, this might disrupt the story a bit...oh well still looking forward to it

Is Shueisha desperate to promote Sket Dance or what?

Don't the shows have different art styles? I'm wondering how it'll work. Plus, aren't they in college+ in the current arc in Bakuman? How would they meet up? But lemme guess. They're gonna compete with the shojo manga fan and Bossun.

All this tells me is that Bakuman likely doesn't have enough source material to do an entire second season and we will likely be seeing filler/plot dragging as the series goes on. Not exactly a good way to start a second season :\

Bakuman has PLENTY of source material to go on. The anime is nowhere near the manga at this point. I guess they really are just trying to give a bit more promotion to Sket Dance, which is odd because it seemed to be doing fairly well.

Makes sense given the manga that the two eventually create is basically sket dance.

I was thinking that, they don't exactly mix, considering Bakuman is about the shonen jump magazine (as well as creating manga) and sket dance is a maga that runs in it. Bit weird...

Seems cool, but now I'll have to go watch Sket Dance.
I've been planning on it, but just haven't got around to it yet.
I guess now's a good time than ever.
As if I didn't have enough shows to catch up on/start!

I hope this turns out to be a PCP x Sket Dance Crossover.

I'm sorry, but that Sket Dance episode of Gintama was atrocious. Keep that terrible non-Gintama WSJ schlock out of my Gintama. Since TLR left, it's the only decent thing in that entire publication.
