I don't think anyone can argue that the price is very affordable, and anything that contributes to the success of the J-Comi experiment is alright with me.

I read in a conversation between Akamatsu and Kentaro Takekuma that Akamatsu is planning on eventually making an english version of J-Comi, I really hope 1) this is true, 2) I read it correctly, and 3) it actually pans out.

A english version would be really cool. Maybe it could revive Toykopop and get some of its manga! I really would like more Sgt. Frog and Qwaser!

I think an open relationship with doujinshi is pretty interesting. I think it's great that a real give and take attitude, rather than a silent one, is coming from this.
