I thought the original Grandia was derivative, but the sequel's one of the best RPGs of the last decade.

Aw damn. I remember Grandia. That's a shame. So young. R.I.P. Thank you for all you've done.

I could never finish the original Grandia because of a disc error on my Playstation. But I truly loved the innocent spirit of adventure that it captured for its era. I'll always remember the triumphant opening music for that game.

That said, this is a sad loss. R.I.P.

I loved both the original Grandia games -- the first one for the reason mentioned above, and the second one for having an awesomely sarcastic pragmatic main lead -- so that really is a loss.

Rest in peace. And I'll see you in the games you made when I play them again. (Which I was actually planning to do.)

Wow, what an unfortunate loss. I really enjoyed Grandia 1, 2, and 3. The second one is definitely my favorite one and is up there as one of my all time favorite RPGs. My condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P.
