those aren't even loli's bro but i don't want to get into a argument about that. It seems like political pressure due to the synopsis of the show is forcing them to.. spoiler["the male lead is ero novel writer"] Still This is on Nico Nico japan/usa site and Crunchy Roll so I don't think the people what want to watch it are going to be affected.

Why not just say "the ecchi has us nervous and we don't wanna take any chances" or something similar?

I think it says something about my expectations of ecchi anime when the only thing I find completely outlandish about the premise is that an erotic novel could be serialized in a newspaper....

Because their position is more nuanced than that? Because they aren't American and don't have the automatic violent reaction against the slightest whisper of sexual suggestiveness the way Americans routinely do, but instead happen to find the particular qualities of this show unflattering?

I was actually hoping the same thing.
Even though, I am a paid subscriber of crunchyroll.

Were these "circumstances" a sudden onset of basic standards?

WOW! I would have thought, at least, Japan was one the last nations free of BS conservative ideology about what's "appropriate". Good grief!!! I still can't advocate fansubs, though, even in this instance. Because the show IS STILL BEING AIRED AND SIMULCASTED.

Off-topic question: At 0:12, did Taketo-kun say " By this signature, my dream is to give you a great harem with many women"? Or, something to that affect? I'm learning Japanese Wink Just wanna make sure the elementary listening skills and vocab are up to par.

Yeah, except for the "sainou" part, that's basically right.

HAHAHA!!! The crazy part is, I didn't recognize that name. But, as soon as I Googled him, and saw his face, my mind went back to your question and I nearly died over here of laughter. Boy, oh, boy. The things that guy has said. But, you know, that actually (sort of) applies to my point. 99% of everything "controversial" he's said has been the non-politically correct truth(with the exception of his latest comment suggesting divine punishment during the Tohoku disaster. Like, how does he explain Hurricane Katrina?).
