Well they have been screwed badly.

Im just going to say what I've said on other forums, Im not going to get this, mainly because of the comments by the head of Go-Fish (well i think anyway).

That's just the way GoFish seems to like to do things, probably because it would take more time to get the DVD out, and I'm sure they want it out around the holidays. In any case, this isn't new for them, they did the same thing with Millenium Actress, but I personally don't mind.

Compared to the Japanese Innocence covers, this one really sucks. It's not horrible in itself, but really, if I had the choice, I would pick the Japanese covers all day long. They are actually very pretty in comparison to the action oriented covers that we normally get.

It would have been nice to hear this movie dubbed (especially if it's dubbed by Animaze since they did a good job with the first movie and Stand Alone Complex). Confused

Now I don't know if I really want to buy this (renting might be an option).

Meh. GitS: SAC is OK. It's not good, but it's not bad either. I like Batou's and Aramaki's voices, but that's it.

And don't let the fact that it's subbed only scare you away. I haven't seen the movie myself, but I've seen a Mamoru Oshii movie, and I liked it, so hopefully, I may like this one.

It wouldn't hurt you to do a little reading now, would it? Smile

I would have also prefered that a dub was included, maybe they may dub it later perhaps? Now I wonder when its going to hit European shores?

I doubt that they'll change for the European release. I'm fine with this, since it'll force me to watch it subbed, which is what I've been meaning to get around to. Any idea as to the price?

Hmm. Well, with an MSRP of $29.99, I'm willing to guess that Deep Discount DVD will have it for $22.31 at most, though, Millennium Actress is only $13.99 over there (also with an MSRP of $29.99).

I agree with you. Japanese cover is way better. However, I think that American cover isn't that bad.

Abit misunderstood here... I actually meant when it'll be released in European. Hopefully not too long after the US release since I'd rather buy the UK version, if the release date is a long wait I'll buy the US version Smile

Grant it that it will be released though Comblia/Tri-Star, should be people be surpised that there won't be a English dub. I am alittle. They could have grab the crew that did the dub for SAC, but they might not won't to go though the trouble of it. Besides, wasn't the sub verison shown at movies (I got off of leave from Iraq a week before it released.) Any hoot, yes, the cover blows.
