Cineplex is really marketing the crap out of this. I was at the cinema the other day, and the trailer would play on the TV screens every few minutes. They even played it on the big-screen.

Yes! It'll be screening in Mississauga after all!
I thought it was only going to be Cineplex screening it - with the closest ones being the Brampton location & the Queensway location - and lost hope, but seeing that Eva will make its return at Empire Theatre inside Square One makes me really happy, and has made a trip to the theater much more feasible.

Nope. The Montreal theater on the list only shows movies in English, I assume it's the same thing with the Hull theater.
There probably won't be too many people at the Ste-Foy screening though, there isn't much of an English-speaking community in Quebec City.
They're really promoting this on their pre-screening thingy. I saw a trailer right before True Grit. It definitely looks good on the big screen.

I want to bang my head against my desk for not being able to go due to work. Would have loved to go and see it on the big screen.

So many theaters ! It's a great day to be Canadian.
I saw 1.0 on the big screen last year and it looked stunning. The picture was a little dark, but razor sharp.
I urge anyone with a passing interest in Eva, or just anime in general, to get out and see this. I plan to go to the IMAX in Richmond BC for added factor.

And once again no anime love for North West Florida. Closest is a 6 hour drive to Atlanta.
Maybe I should move north of the boarder.
