People might see this as a slow, airy-fairy film, but you can't beat the astounding animation quality. I actually liked it a lot- thought the different stories with the same characters were well written, especially as it progresses. |

A live-action film in amongst the animated drivel I usually watch? Madness! Well, it was listed on the site as a sequel to the old 70s animated series so figured I'd put a note about it. Can't say that I've watched the original series, but this film was a lot of fun. Over the top all the way through, but it's pretty as anything. |

Made by the same team as those who made Kanon, this is fantastically well animated but with a much more comical plot rather than what can be a rather slow-paced storyline found in Kanon. Definitely worth a watch. |

For most this will be one of those Marmite Love/Hate series. I really enjoyed watching it as it was being broadcast in Japan for the first time- there weren't as many bloggers trying to tear it apart! It's dark, interesting, and it's got enough intelligent plot lines to challenge you along the way. |

I'm in two minds about this one- the rotoscoping didn't fuss me, I didn't hate the characters and I wanted to see it to the end...mostly. There were times where I fast-forwarded through long sections of the episodes as I didn't feel like waiting, and times where I was in love with the suspense and long scenes. This is a hard one to rate or recommend. I'd say it's worth checking out, but not going out of your way to see.
