I try to add enlightening commentary, but let's face it:
I'm far from perfect.

Seen/Read All (public list)▲▼ | Rating▲▼ |
Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom (special) | Very good Although it's basically a 30-minute info. dump, I have changed my mind about my rating for it. Initially, I was going to rate it at 8/11 (good); but both the beginning and the ending neatly bookend each other. Therefore, I will rate it at 9/11 (very good). |
Fate/Prototype (OAV) | Very good Read Kim Morrissy's essay. |
Fate/stay night (TV) | Good |
Fate/stay night TV reproduction (OAV) | Excellent ↓ Nice OP/ED! "trying to understand the fate series"|Gigguk "So You Wanna Watch The Fate Series? - Starter Pack"|Get In The Robot |
Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (movie) | Good |
Fate/Zero (TV) | Excellent ↓ |
Fate/Zero (TV 2) | Excellent ↑ |
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (movie) | So-so |
Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom? (movie) | Not really good (dub), Excellent (sub) ↓ 44:00- a seemingly erotic scene..... 47:15- symbolism
get the OST
Pros: great graphics!
↑ |
First Squad - The Moment Of Truth (OAV) | Very good (dub & sub) Would have rated it higher, but the OAV ends abruptly; as though there is more to the story that is not being told. Also, a tolerance for art-house films is required. You have been warned. Voice Direction: Alex von David |
FLCL (OAV) | Excellent It's a classic Studio Gainax production..... That should tell you everything right there.
See this |
Flip Flappers (TV) | Excellent ↓
|
Flying Witch (TV) | Very good (dub & sub) slice-of-life Will try watching one ep./day.
|
For Whom the Alchemist Exists (movie) | Masterpiece So why did I rate this at 11/11? Because the protagonist uses her empathy to heal. PERIOD. What's there not to love about that? |
Frakenstein Family (TV) | Excellent ↕ When watching this series it is necessary to remember the principles of cultural anthropology. Remember that Japanese culture emphasizes conformity to a toxic extreme. "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down." ep.#6| This episode puts the series in SERIOUS territory. 11/11!!! ep.#7| Continues where #6 left off. 11/11 ep.#8| The landlord continues to bond with the children. ep.#9| Brother Snow becomes severely ill. ep.#10|Tanis is crushed by the thought that Sumire loves Snow. ep.#11| Tanis now has to rely on the only two adults that he can trust.
