Anime Boston announces 2007 dates

BOSTON, July 22, 2005 – Anime Boston is proud to announce that the fifth annual Anime Boston convention will take place at the John B. Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel from April 20, 2007, through April 22, 2007.
Having just completed its first year at the Hynes, Anime Boston felt the convention center, and its partnership with the Sheraton, is an excellent fit for both the convention and its fans. The convention center's space allows the convention's many attendees to feel comfortable and gives many opportunities for the convention to grow even further into a preeminent event for anime fans across the region and the country.
Marking its third year at the Hynes Convention Center, Anime Boston 2007 will feature several viewing rooms for anime, from genres as diverse as action, romance, period dramas, space operas, and many others. Many talented artists will be available in the Artists' Alley, and a charity auction will be held in addition to the show's annual art show. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to showcase their own artistic talents with costume contests and video editing competitions. Attendees can also participate in panel discussions, play import video games, and browse a dealer's room packed with 38,000 square feet of merchandise including Japanese imports and translated comics.
