The Prince of Tennis II Heads To Jump Festa '24 Super Stage Red

Livestream of the stage will be available outside of Japan for overseas fans!


Tokyo, Japan (December 7, 2023) - Shueisha, Inc. has announced details of the The Prince of Tennis II (also known as The New Prince of Tennis) stage on Super Stage RED happening at the annual event JUMP FESTA. JUMP FESTA '24 will be held December 16-17, 2023 (JST) at Makuhari Messe. JUMP Super Stage RED will feature 10 popular hit titles and will be livestreamed on the official YouTube channel “JUMP Channel” so that overseas fans can enjoy JUMP FESTA as well. JUMP Super Stage RED will be livestreamed outside of Japan with simultaneous English interpretation.

The Prince of Tennis II, the second series of The Prince of Tennis which has been serialized in JUMP SQ. since 2009-after its first series which was serialized from 1999 to 2008 in Weekly Shonen Jump-is a popular work with a cumulative circulation of over 60 million copies for both series. The Prince of Tennis II, which depicts junior high school students aiming for greater heights in the world of tennis, continues to fascinate fans through various media such as TV animation, radio, games, and musicals.

On the day of the event, four popular voice actors who appear in The Prince of Tennis II will take to the stage in Makuhari Messe. In addition to the customary live reading, the new anime The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal will be discussed, and there will be plenty of behind-the-scenes stories that can only be heard at this stage about the original manga currently being serialized in Jump SQ.! Furthermore for the stage finale, music combined with the latest AR technology will be presented!

About The Prince of Tennis Series:

Created by Takeshi Konomi, The Prince of Tennis began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999 and quickly gained overwhelming support. The serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump was completed in 2008. In the following year 2009, the series moved to Jump Square and the sequel The Prince of Tennis II (also known as The New Prince of Tennis) began.
