According to August data, One Piece – with more than 1,000 episodes so far – is the most viewed content on Crunchyroll, resulting in almost one-fourth of the whole platform views in the U.S. One Piece has made history by being the first anime show to crash Crunchyroll servers two weeks in a row, as reported by Dexerto.

As expected, One Piece fans have also migrated to Netflix after the live action of the series was released in August where the show has been a huge success, achieving the number one spot on Netflix within the first week. With more than 20 million unique viewers and almost 77 million total hours watched, the show performed better than 90% of the original series releases.

Other data from the past quarter shows the runner up in Crunchyroll is Jujutsu Kaisen, after its premiere in July. The anime series whose first emission happened in October, following the events of the Japanese manga that is still being written, is planned to have the season ending on September 22. Also, Demon Slayer managed to keep its audience engaged to make a relevant appearance in the summer aggregated top 10. The performance of the show got it a renewal for a fourth season adaptation, according to The Direct.

With its newfound ability to track data from Crunchyroll, PlumResearch continues to strengthen its position as a leader in the field of streaming platform analytics. Content creators, streaming platforms, and industry professionals now have a powerful tool at their disposal to understand and optimize their performance on Crunchyroll, driving engagement and audience satisfaction.
