Brazen Blaze, a Brand New Multiplayer Shooter From the Award-Winning Creators of Tokyo Chronos and Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, Revealed With a Closed Alpha
Tokyo, Japan / September 7th, 2023 Do you want to break some rules? MyDearest, the developer behind games like Tokyo Chronos and Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, is proud to reveal the newest title from the award-winning Japanese studio: Brazen Blaze.
For years, gamers have asked themselves whether they're bad enough dudes to save the president, but Brazen Blaze aims a little higher and asks if you're a bad enough dude to be the president. In the anarcho-capitalist world of Brazen Blaze, the only thing keeping society from slipping into a complete dystopia is an international fighting tournament to determine the President of the world. Contestants travel the globe to duke it out in locations evocative of the real world.

Brazen Blaze takes the anime stylings and Japanese aesthetic of MyDearest's previous games and applies them to a punk rock mentality to redefine Japanese cool. Emphasizing the caligula effect — a Japanese term that has no direct translation but is most easily understood to mean doing something chaotic that feels good — and that ethos permeates every aspect of Brazen Blaze.
The fighting takes to the streets with multiple unique characters in 3v3 online multiplayer battles in virtual reality. Players will dash, jump, grapple, shoot, and punch their way using enormously powerful gauntlets to force their opponents off the stage and claim victory. Each character has their own special attack that defines breaking the rules — causing explosions, spending way too much money, setting things on fire, etc. They say you can't be a good person and be a good president and these characters live that mantra.
Moreover, players will get to go hands-on with the game in our first-ever Closed Alpha.
