"Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team” Gets Major Quality of Life Updates
New Features Including RNG Adjustments and Manual Defence Controls!
Tokyo, Japan – July 15th, 2022 – KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced that its head-to-head football simulation game Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team will receive an update on Friday, July 15th that will implement adjustments to the match probability (RNG) and more.
The July 15th update will implement a beta test to adjust the probability settings (*RNG) and random elements of match results. Manual defense controls will also be added so users can enjoy more gameplay options.
*RNG (Random Number Generator) is the value of the probability that determines whether you will win or lose a match-up.

Long-Awaited Beta RNG Update Test & Survey
We are implementing the highly anticipated RNG adjustment test in Friendly Match and Group Match.
In this adjusted version the number of scenes that influence the outcome of player parameters and matchups has been increased to add more excitement to game matches.
Adjustment Details
・Adjusting match-up bonus calculation in Friendly and Group Matches.
・Adjusting the chance to fumble when in a winning match-up.
Implementation Date:
Friday, July 15th from 16: 00~ (JST/UTC+9)
Setting Method
・You can test out the updated RNG version by turning it on in the regulations for Group and Friendly matches.
・You can check the RNG if you set the win percentage to "Display" in the settings.
The RNG balance may be readjusted based on the test performance and the results of the survey.
Starting today, we will be holding an exhibition match event on the official Discord channel and we will also be conducting a survey regarding RNG adjustment. We look forward to all of the user participation.

Information will be announced in the dedicated channel for the Discord RNG test.

Manual Controls During Defence Added!
Starting July 8th, we will be testing the new Manual Defence feature where users will be able to freely move every player other than the keeper.
This function will make it possible to, for example, turn a defensive play into an offensive by interfering with the opponent's attack on your goal, stealing the ball, and passing it to connect for a chance at a counter attack.
Operation Method
・ Drag the player in the direction you want them to move with your finger and release to move the player toward that point.
・ Players will stop for a short time when they arrive at their destination and then start the next action.
・ Goalkeepers cannot be moved.
・ You can change the destination manually by dragging while moving.
・ Manual operation will be canceled when the next matchup is performed or the offense and defense change.
How to Set Manual Operation
To turn Manual Defence on, go to Other>Settings from your home screen. You can turn on the Manual Defence option from there.
(The Manual Defence option is turned OFF by default.)
*For details, please refer to the in-game help menu.
*This function can be used in Friendly, Group, and Random matches only during the trial period.
*Please note that the trial period may end without prior notice due to circumstances.
We will also conduct a survey about the Manual Defence system and its implementation.

There are new changes to League Mode including points earned during manual mode and bonus points. Players can take advantage of these updates to earn more points and rise in the ranks!
League Mode Updates
1. You can now earn points by deck formation even in manual mode. It's easier to play in either auto or manual mode, so you can enjoy league mode according to your playing style.
2. You can now get more bonus points when defeating opponents stronger than your team. Put your team to the test and see if they can overcome more challenging opponents.
3. The list of possible opponents will be adjusted so that opponents of similar or greater strength to your team will appear. We will also be introducing a cap on the number of times you can refresh possible opponents.
4. We will be adding the ability to check how many bonus points you can receive from a win before the match starts and from the results screen. Now you will be able to make a more informed decision on which teams to face before starting a match.

Adjustment to How Clearing the Ball Works
From now on, the ball will no longer fall behind the player clearing the ball. Also, if there are no open players to clear the ball to, the ball may go out for a throw in.
Improved Hidden Skill Icon Display During Matches
The display method of the hidden skill icons during matches will be changed. When multiple hidden skills with the same effect are active at the same time the cumulative effect of active hidden skills will be displayed. This will make it easier to check the cumulative effect of all hidden skills improving your decision making during match-ups.
Passive skills and some hidden skills will not be included in the cumulative total but these will be displayed separately below the cumulative value. You will also be able to toggle between cumulative or skill by skill displays by tapping the switch button.
Max Friends Limit Increased to 100
The maximum number of friends will be increased from 50 to 100. Until now, at rank 60 you could have a maximum of 50 friends, however, after the update the cap will be increased to 100 when you reach rank 85. For users who have already reached rank 85 you will be able to have up to 100 friends as soon as the update is released. This is a great opportunity to review your friends list and send out new requests.
