Seven Seas Sinks its Teeth into License of Mars Red Manga Series
(LOS ANGELES, December 4, 2020) – Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisition of the manga series MARS RED by Bun-Ō Fujisawa and Kemuri Karakara, the historical vampire thriller that's soon to be an anime!
It's the early 20th century and Aoi is a young newspaper reporter investigating a series of grisly murders. When she gets too close to the culprit, she discovers that there is a secret team of vampires working for the military...and that one of the vampires is her supposedly dead friend! This team, known as Code Zero, is the government's best hope at stopping violence caused by other vampires. What on earth has Aoi stepped into?
Seven Seas will publish the manga series MARS RED for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released in July 2021 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
