Burlingame - July 5, 2018 – Fresh off its award-winning, behind-closed-doors debut at the Electronics Entertainment Expo, KOEI TECMO announced today that the first consumer playable build of DEAD OR ALIVE 6 will be unveiled at the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) 2018 inside the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, August 3-4.
The title, which won numerous “Best Fighting Game of E3” awards and was heralded as “one of the most gorgeous and detailed fighting games yet,” by Tom's Guide, will be playable at KOEI TECMO's booth on the show floor, and will be showcased on stage in a special DEAD OR ALIVE 6 mini-tournament. Gamers will also be able to compete for the official DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round championship, as the best-of-the-best trade fists and kicks to see who will walk away with a piece of the $6,000 in prize pool money in front of the packed crowd.
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 producer and director, Yohei Shimbori will be in attendance throughout the weekend to showcase his new game. In addition, unique DOA merchandise will be given out during the event - including tote bags awarded to gamers joining the DOA6 mini-tournament, as well as original DOA6 t-shirts available to players who test out the game at the booth.
