Crossover Event: The Battle Cats Join Forces with Evangelion
Can the Cat Army save humanity from the Third Impact? The heroes of Evangelion will soon arrive to save The Battle Cats from the apocalypse! Starting April 17th 2018, a limited-time-only crossover event will bring spectacular stages and awesome characters from the smash hit anime phenomenon Evangelion to the weirdly cute strategy app The Battle Cats.
By logging into The Battle Cats between April 17th and May 1st, players will have access to 11 unique new heroes to recruit for their Cat army, including Cat versions of Evangelion favorites Shinji, Rei, Asuka and Mari. The most dedicated players might even be able to take command of the elite forces of NERV or the massively powerful Evangelion units themselves and tear the enemy army to pieces! Players won't want to delay, though... Crossover characters will only be available from the Rare Capsule machine thru May 1st, after which they'll be gone forever!
However mighty the army they bring, Battle Cats fans will still have to contend with enemies just as fearsomely powerful: the terrifying Angels standing in the way of victory in four brand new crossover maps recreating the most notorious scenes in the Evangelion saga. Will you be able to defend the city of Tokyo-3 and your comrades from certain destruction and earn spectacular rewards like unique collaboration units and powerful battle items?
Along with the limited edition collaboration stages and characters, the Evangelion campaign will also include bonus login rewards for dedicated players to claim each day, as well as other events occurring on official PONOS social media. Players who join in on these events can help earn even more rewards for all users as the event continues through 11:00am on May 1st, 2018, so they'll want to make sure to visit the app daily and so they don't miss out!
