Cygames to be Matchday Sponsor for Juventus F.C. vs A.S. Roma
TOKYO - December 22, 2017 - Japanese game developer Cygames, Inc. announced today that it will sponsor the Serie A soccer match between Juventus F.C. and A.S.Roma, which will take place in Turin's Allianz Stadium on December 23.
The showdown between two of the giants of Italian football will be the first time Cygames has sponsored a Juventus match since the club signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with the developer earlier this year. Under the terms of that sponsorship the Cygames logo has appeared on the back of the Bianconeri jerseys since 22 July – the first time in history that Juventus have had a sponsor on the back of their shirts.
Cygames will be pulling out all the stops to extend Japan's renowned tradition of hospitality to Italian soccer fans and to make sure that the match between Juventus and Roma is a legendary one that lives long in the memory. Everyone who attends the match will get a special souvenir gift, the match will kick-off with an extravagant opening ceremony, and parts of the stadium itself will be decked out with special Japanese calligraphy-inspired visuals.
As per the CYBIRD mission statement, this latest sponsorship deal marks another step in the company's ongoing mission to deliver The Best in Entertainment to people all over the world.
