Day Zero of SNAFU Con is Free and Open to the Public
SPARKS, NV (October 3, 2016) - Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite! (SNAFU) Con is an anime convention in the Reno-Sparks area; Friday, October 7th through Sunday, October 9th, 2016 in The Nugget Casino Resort, 1100 Nugget Ave, Sparks, NV 89431.
Back by popular demand, SNAFU Con begins a day early with DAY ZERO! Thursday, October 6th starting at 12pm to 11pm at the Nugget Casino get a taste of SNAFU Con for FREE. Day Zero is badgeless, free, and open to the public for anyone and everyone to enjoy.
Day Zero Festivities include a Swap Meet in the Main Stage Room with tons of toys, manga, anime and much more for sale or trade; a Cosplay Meetup from 6pm to 10pm on the Convention Floor! Put on your favorite character and come on out for free as well as Cosplay Chess starting at 6pm; Karaoke on the Main Stage from 8pm to 11pm and Tabletop Gaming including a UFS Demo, Pathfinder games, and board games throughout Day Zero!

Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite Convention (SNAFU) Con is a collaborative effort of local anime, game, comic-book, and science-fiction fans. Our goal is to provide a convention that will benefit both the producers within the local area and community at large. The primary goal is to connect local fans to each other as well as producers and retailers, allowing them to interact with their customers in a fun and relaxed setting. Our reason for choosing the greater Reno-Sparks area is a simple one: We live here and so do numerous other people who share our interests in all things nerdy. This will be the biggest little con(vention) in the biggest little city.
