“Singers of Death” STARMARIE's Perform at 10th Show in Taiwan to Largest Audience to Date

"Singers of Death" STARMARIE took to the Taiwanese stage for the 10th time on July 3, with over 200 fans taking a trip down to STARMARIE's "Fantasy World". The group has found success not only domestically, but across the globe, spanning more than seventy international performances to date. The group performed at one of their regular appearances this month, with the ring of enthusiastic Marists (STARMARIE fans) widening across Taiwan.
For their tenth Taiwanese performance, STARMARIE performed at a Japanese vs Taiwanese idol event, Girls Idol Music Festival vol. 8. The Taiwanese contenders included TIRA (formerly of BELLRING GIRLS HEART), Juririjuriran Mirai Gorogoro Colony 13-sei who is slated to perform at Japan's largest idol event, TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL, Trance Baby Meow whose videos on YouTube have over 2.7 million views, among a variety of talented performers. The event was a mosaic of cultures and languages, proving that music transcends nations.
In the evening, STARMARIE performed "STARMARIE Taiwanese Performance ~ THE FANTASY WORLD~. STARMARIE is known for thinking outside the box; even in Japan, their performances are spectacles - complete with video screens, narration, and set pieces - illustrating that theirs is a fantasy world. The Taiwan performance was no exception. The performance opened with the soft tunes of a music box and the imagery of a shooting star: the magic of connection between fans from Japan, fans from Taiwan, and fans from all over the world. The set list of 22 songs spanned STARMARIE's multifaceted repertoire in a neat storyline: STARMARIE-flavored dark tracks, " Letter of invitation from three star restaurant Paul", "Grandchild's Graduation", and "Splendid Alibi of the Emperor", a few classics that got the audience energized: "My mom is a super guitarist" and "Vocaloids in Love", and the softer "Galaxies visible from the rooftop" and "Stella and Subaru's Space Love Story", followed by the pumped-up "Hime ha rankiryu☆goikkosama".
Given that this was their tenth Taiwan performance, STAMRARIE's Mandarin had improved in leaps and bounds. Monya Nakane who had been studying Mandarin most intently stated, "I want to continue studying and doing my best so I can communicate my thoughts and feelings with everyone," followed by expressions of gratitude and love in Mandarin. The group's success is sure to continue.
STARMARIE will perform at Singapore7s C3 CharaExpo 2016 on July 9th and 10th, followed by more performances in Taiwan on the 16th and 17th at Taiwan's largest Japanese tourism fair, Touch The Japan. Once back in Japan, the group will perform a solo show, FANTASY CIRCUS~Part 3: Spell of the Book at Shinagawa Stellarball on August 21 (Sun). Ticket sales for the solo show in Tokyo will commence on July 9.
STARMARIE's domestic and international successes show no signs of stopping!
