Mixing Etrian Odyssey's vast party and skill customization aspects and Mystery Dungeon's infinitely random dungeon adventures, Etrian Mystery Dungeon balances methodical turn-based fighting with vibrant dungeon exploration.

Don't be fooled into thinking that EMD's cheery demeanor makes it a simple game. Combat requires players to constantly think about using the correct skills, as well as strategic positioning.
