Steins;Gate vocalist Kanako Ito to perform at 10th Annual Tokyo International Music Market
October 2, 2013 - Nitroplus singer Kanako Ito will perform a live concert at PROMIC's 10th Annual Tokyo International Music Market showcase on October 23. Kanako Ito is known for her contributions to numerous anime and game soundtracks including STEINS;GATE, Blassreiter, School Days, STAR MINE GIRL/SUMAGA, CHAOS;HEAD NOAH, Song of Saya, and Deus Machina Demonbane.
Kanako Ito appeared at Brazil's “Sana 9″ anime festival in 2009, and has performed multiple times as part of Japan's Animelo Summer Live event. She released her 2-Disc “Best” album titled Thank You! in 2011. In March 2012, she made her American performance debut at Anime Boston, followed by her first European performance in July 2012 at ANImagic in Germany.
Kanako Ito joins an impressive list of J-Pop performers at the PROMIC event, held this year at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo to showcase Japanese music performers to worldwide music industry guests. Other musical artists at TIMM include Shishido Kavka, Dempagumi.inc, moumoon, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, Kaname Kawabata (Chemistry), CREAM, and Buffalo Daughter.
