Ani-Jam Attracts Over 1,600 Attendees for Tenth Year Celebration
Fresno, CA, August 20, 2013 - Ani-Jam, Fresno's premiere anime convention celebrated the end of its two- day 2013 convention event with an attendance record of over 1,600+ attendees.
Excited fans from the local Central Valley area joined attendees who came from areas as far as Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas to celebrate Ani-Jam's 10th year anniversary.
“It was a wonderful outcome to this tenth year anniversary of Ani-Jam!”, said Ani-Jam owner and president Antonio Airoso.
“I am proud that we have accomplished a goal to see another year of growth for Ani-Jam in the Central Valley and to create a wonderful event for our attendees. We could not have done this without our industry supporters, our guests of honor, vendors, artist alley participants, our staff and volunteers but most importantly, our attendees. Ani-Jam 2013's success is because of them and I wish everyone to join us for our next Ani-Jam event!”
Guests of honors for the 2013 year included Greg Ayres, Aimee Major Steinberger, Cynthia Martinez, Brittney Karbowski, Robert Axelrod, Katsuhiko Jinnai, Richi Branson, Mari Watanabe, Kairu and Valkyrie Kiss.
Prize sponsors included FUNimation, Viz Media, Sentai Filmworks, Aniplex USA and Sony Music Japan.

Ani-Jam is a two-day convention held annually that celebrates Japanese animation and East Asian pop culture. The two-day convention brings in over a thousand people from the valley and throughout the state to participate in cosplay and costuming events, panels featuring our special guests of honor, concerts, screenings, game tournaments and more.
