(April 5, 2013) – Crunchyroll, Inc., continues its spring simulcast announcements with the addition of MUROMI-SAN, which is set to broadcast every Saturday starting on April 6th at 1:00 pm Pacific Time for its premium and free members. Muromi-san is based on Keiji Najima's manga and has been produced into an anime series this season by Tatsunoko Production, directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara.
“One day, Mukoujima Takurou, a boy in high school who loves fishing, catches a pig tailed mermaid called Muromi-san who speaks in the Hakata dialect. She comes to visit Takurou often, along with her fellow mermaids Sumida-san, Fuji-san, Levia-san, Hii-chan, and even some other fantastical creatures such as Yeti and Harpy!”
