Kawaii Kon's Third Guest Announcement for the 2013 Show
Honolulu, HI – February 7, 2013 - Kawaii Kon, Hawaii's premier anime convention and conference is proud to announce its newest guests to the 2013 lineup.
Toshio Furukawa – Seiyuu
Considered to be one of the most iconic voice actors (seiyuu) for more than 30 years, Toshio Furukawa has voiced well over a 100 titles in anime, television and video games. Toshio Furukawa's characters have been fan favorites for decades: Gundam, Dr. Slump, Urusei Yatsura, Sailor Moon, Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star), Patlabor, Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Samurai Champloo, One Piece and many more. Some of his most notable roles include Portgaz D. Ace in One Piece, Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z, and Kai Shiden in Mobile Suit Gundam. In addition to being a distinguished voice actor, Furukawa is also a narrator, actor, playwright and guitarist.
