AnimeFest 2012 Guest Announcement: Dai Sato
AnimeFest is thrilled to announce our fifth Japanese Guest of Honor for AnimeFest 2012: Dai Sato, Scriptwriter.
Most recently, Mr. Sato wrote the scripts for 3 episodes in the new Lupin III television series, Lupin III: A Woman Called Fujiko Mine. Additionally, he created the scenario for the upcoming CAPCOM game, E.X. Troopers, which is scheduled for release on PS3 and 3DS later this year. It was also recently announced that Mr. Sato is in charge of the Series Composition for a new upcoming TV series called Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter.
Some of Mr. Sato's previous projects include Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Psalms of Planets: Eureka Seven, Ergo Proxy, Freedom, and Eden of the East (TV), among many others.
AnimeFest will be held Labor Day Weekend (August 31 through Sept 3) in Dallas, Texas.
This will be Mr. Sato's sixth consecutive time at AnimeFest.
